I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! For the first time in a couple of years, we went to someone else’s house and didn’t have to do the cooking. Being a good guest though, I baked some mighty tasty bread to bring along. This recipe has been hanging out on my Pinterest board for a couple of years now and it was time to give it a whirl. The result? Awesome. Sweet and tart.
Looks delicious.
Lynn 😀
Thanks! It was. 🙂
Ohhh yuuuum. I wish we had some kind of thanks giving here because it’d be great to have another excuse to eat too much, drink too much and be jolly.
Well first you have to trick the natives into a nice little dinner and then convince them to show you how to grow things. Then shit gets real and hundreds of years later, we still celebrate it. My husband is a high percentage native american and tries to hold it against me, but my family didn’t move to America until 1911 so he has to get his whitey hating somewhere else. 😛
Haha is he the last Mohican I read about as a kid?
Lmao yes
Omg yum! Looks so good. How are there not more pumpkin/cranberry treats out there to be had? I feel like this would be a great combo. I almost made some of your cranberry cream cheese bread you made before for Thanksgiving but just didn’t have the time. Speaking of really good cranberry stuff, just something to keep in mind for next Thanksgiving, the Meijer deli area has a surprisingly delicious cranberry sauce or whatever it’s called. We were going to make some homemade but decided to try that instead and I’d definitely do it again next year. 🙂
I love all the cranberry things. I’ll keep that Meijer cranberry sauce in mind. Truth be told though, I still love the stuff in the can lol.
