If there is one thing I would suggest to anyone considering a DIY chain-link fence project for their home, it would be, hire someone else to do it. Especially, if your property contained an amount of rocks under the dirt that you thought could only exist in the mountains.
I didn’t intend on an impromptu hiatus but let me tell you, even with 6 people tackling this project, it whooped our asses.
It’s a huge relief to have this finally done. Not only do the dogs get to wander freely about without a leash or myself wandering after them, but it will also keep any other dogs from wandering into our yard. (This has become a big fear since a recent dog attack on a family dog several months ago.) The dogs appear to approve and Ozzy has picked out several prime laying around locations.

Now, I’m going to go try to catch up on some of your blogs before I take off on a long weekend adventure with Ignited Moth and her beau.
Yep, fencing can be real tough work. Glad you had that much help.
So am I. If it wasn’t for so much help, it would have never gotten done. Now, I don’t need to ever build another fence in my life. =P
You’re, like, the 153rd person to convince me I never want to own a home, lol.
I really don’t mind the ownership and in fact, enjoy remodeling things but it IS a lot of maintenance. I’m going to be like every other old person in the future and buy a condo when I can handle the up keep anymore lol.
Look at you guys kicking all the ass at this home-owner thing. 😀 The fence looks great. ❤
Thanks doll! If I could just have a plethora of money, I’d get all the other things done too. 😉
Also, YAY for the road trip! 😀 We can’t wait! ^_^
I’m blog stalking your comments rofl. Yay! Road trip! Road Trip! I am ready for it. 😀
Well done. Fencing can be a tough monotonous job 🤘🏼
I never want to do it ever again in my life. 😛
Hahaha.
