ALL THE PUMPKIN – PART 2

More pumpkin stuff! (I’ve actually been pretty lazy about trying things and I’ve definitely been lazy about baking things…)

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios – Better than regular Cheerios but just a hint of pumpkin spice. Pretty good fall cereal. (Let’s face it though, BooBerry will always be #1.)

Biggby’s Chumpkin Coffee – Oh dear pumpkin fiends, this is chai with pumpkin. Chumpkin. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, it’s goooooood.

Thomas Pumpkin Spice English Muffins – Last year, I mentioned this company’s awesome pumpkin spice bagels (which is always worth a repeat) but their english muffins with pumpkin spice are awesome too.

ALL THE PUMPKIN – PART 1

Yes, my fellow pumpkin fiends, that did require an all caps title. We’re six days into September and I’ve tried 3 pumpkin spice things, all of which were new to me. Saving best for last, let’s begin:

Meijer Pumpkin Cake Rolls

Not bad but not as amazing as I had hoped they would be. A decent enough pumpkin treat but if you limit your pumpkin intake to not burn out on it, I would skip and try one of the next two instead.

Chobani Pumpkin Harvest Crisp Flip

Every other pumpkin yogurt has failed me, but not this one. This is awesome. Pumpkin yogurt with pie crust pieces, pecans and glazed pumpkin seeds. (Glazed pumpkin seeds are my new favorite thing.) DO IT.

Voortman Pumpkin Spice Wafers

Good pumpkin gods just eat these! I love wafers anyway and this brand has not disappointed me in any of it’s flavors yet. I will not even be ashamed if I eat half the package myself.

Have you tried anything pumpkin yet this season? If so, what and what were your opinions on it?

Autumn Tasties

Clearly, I love food. Who doesn’t? Only crazy people. So here’s an update on the autumn related goodies I tried and whether or not you should give them a shot.

Chobani’s Caramel Apple Greek Yogurt = do it! (It even has tiny chunks of apple in it!)

Chobani’s Pumpkin Spice Greek Yogurt = meh. Something about pumpkin spice in greek yogurt just gets old after a few bites. Perhaps the two just don’t belong together.

Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice Bread & Caramel Apple bread = do it! Both are tasty, but the caramel apple is my favorite.

For the grand finale, Thomas Pumpkin bagels =  holy shit do eeet!! These are amazing. They even have little tiny bits of pumpkin in them. *drools profusely*

Moist Pumpkin Bread

Did I really need to distinguish this as ‘moist’? Why yes, I did. Because it was the moistestess bread I ever did eat. In fact, everyone proudly proclaimed it as, “like eating a pumpkin pie.”

So if you make this, don’t be too surprised if the loaf flattens out a little bit. It shrank down to about 2 and 1/2 inches thick. This could partially be because I was forced to plop it over on the top to get it out of the pan. Regardless of looks, it was the tastiest pumpkin bread I’ve had to date.

The Time is Nigh

I’ve held out long enough. Despite the fact that autumn is officially only 7 days from now, I’ve decided to get this party started.

My first pumpkin treat of the year was this:

pumpkinpieyogurt

It wasn’t bad but kind of meh. It got old after a couple of bites.

This bad boy though:

pumpkinspicefrappe

My husband surprised my BFF and I with these. I’m not a big Starbucks fan but their frappuccinos available in stores are on point. Especially this one. YUM.

I’ve begun my paranormal/horror books marathon with The Girl With All The Gifts. I have a good number of book reviews from years past to post as well.

So. Much. Excite.

Let the spooky shenanigans begin!
