The first full week of October shaped up to be one of the best weeks in all of 2020. One can only hope that the rest of the month continues to be just as awesome.

4 out of 5 stars – I love historical fiction and this reimagining is fun. The Donner Party is trailed by creatures that may be the first vampires in the United States. Each character is given a new revamped back story that helps lead to the eventual demise of the party. I’ll look for more historical fiction from this author.

My C&M and I each created a movie list for the season of the things we wanted to watch for the first time or rewatch since it had been quite some time. This one was on my list of movies I had somehow never seen before. Mr. C&M couldn’t believe it and it was as great and weird as he promised.

Mini Low Carb Pumpkin Pies – I FINALLY used the ramekins that we received for Christmas last year to make tasty little crustless pumpkin pies. This recipe is low carb, low sugar, keto-friendly. I’ve lost 10 pounds cutting back on carbs. 🙂
Finally, we ended the week by taking part in the most epic wedding; Ms. Ignited Moth’s! It was SO much fun and everything went off without a hitch. I can’t wait until the professional pictures are done because the photographers were just awesome. 🙂
How has the first week of October treated you??
Happy October my friend 🙂 and many congrats to Mrs Ignited Moth and spouse!! 🙂
Many thanks! Happy October to you too. 😀
Oooooh, I have The Hunger on my list, so I’m glad it rocked. Those flowers are gorgeous! I just read a review of Buy Yourself the F*cking Lilies on another blog and then opened your post to see…..lillies!
Lilies are awesome! There were also beautiful red dahlias in it originally but they’re out of season so they went fast.
The Hunger was a great read. I hope you enjoy it too!
Excellent! I’m glad to know you liked it.
Thank you for that recipe, I just saved it. I’m doing low carb at the moment as well, and I also got new ramekins that I hadn’t had much of a chance to use so these are perfect! Yours looks yummy 🙂
Yay! I’m glad you’re going to try it! It’s super easy. 🙂
Congrats on the weight loss 🙂
Thank you. 😀
I absolutely LOVE what you did with the flowers from the wedding. Such a cute Halloween display! ❤
We had such a blast with you guys at the wedding too! ^_^ Hard to believe it's already been 3 weeks. October went by way too fast for my liking! lol
Those low carb pumpkin pies look delicious! 😀
Like I told you, I’m definitely buying table flowers at least once every autumn now. They were just so lovely. Hell, might do a Christmas bouquet! We’ll see.
I cannot believe that the wedding was already that long ago. October did fly by. Your wedding was SO much fun!
Aww, thank you!! ❤ I agree, I loved the whole thing. ^_^
A Christmas bouquet would be lovely! You should do it. 😀
I think I shall!
