The whole bunch of bananas went bad this time. Mr. C&M just triumphantly points to them and says, “Guess you have to make banana something now!”
He’s a pest really.
So off to the store I went to buy a can of pumpkin puree. I had all the other ingredients on hand. The dogs love it when there is unused pumpkin at the end of a baking endeavor. It means there will be some pumpkin goodness in their breakfast or dinner. (100% pumpkin puree only for dogs. Not the pumpkin pie in a can. Works great on upset dog bellies too.)

They’ve been great for breakfast the past week.
We’re dealing with rain, wind and generally raw weather so those look really good at the moment.
Nothing like warm pumpkin anything on a rainy day!
How wonderful!! These look amazing!
Thank you. They were really good. 🙂
I like way the chef from the recipe actually gives you advice on how to save bowls so you’re not making a pile of stuff to wash, and why the recipe has a high temperature first, etc. For me, that helps me learn about baking instead of blindly following a recipe. And a total DUH that chocolate chips have to go in. HAVE TO!
My husband is so lame. I would put chocolate chips in everything but he always complains. I can probably squeeze them in once a year without any complaining happening. I don’t know why though, since he likes chocolate. :3 It was really nice only have to clean one bowl!
These look amazing!! ❤ I never would have thought of pumpkin and banana together.
I think I tried it in a different recipe last year but in that one, the pumpkin over rode the banana. This one is a perfect combo of both.
