I’m the best wife. I found a collaboration between two of my husband’s favorite brewing companies. It was only available as singles in the store that I found it but, turns out that was fine because well……I’ll let him rate it.

Brewing Company: Laguintas Brewing Company in collaboration with Short’s Brewing Company.
Location of company: California and Michigan
Style: Session IPA
ABV: 8.5%
IBU: 54
Rating: 2.75 out of 5
There was a lot going on in this beer and with it’s ABV rating it didn’t taste very boozy. Overall, not very impressed.
Ooooh beer!! (that’s all I have to say, as all of a sudden I have an urge to slink off and drink beer… lots of it) 🙂
I hope you did!
I don’t even know what 3/4 or more of those acronyms and percentages even mean!
Haha I don’t even drink beer but I know thanks to all the people in my life that love craft beer. ABV is the percent of alcohol and IBU is the measurement of bitterness. 🙂
I am now beerwise. Hmmm, I don’t feel any different…
Yeah, unless you drink craft beer, the knowledge doesn’t make you feel any different. I frequently say that I know WAY too much about it for someone who doesn’t drink beer. 😉
Definitely wasn’t my cup of tea either, but it was very cool to try! 😀
Always worth one try!
So true! 🙂
Michigan is having a beer-splosian. I live near some of the big ones, such as Bell’s. In fact, my undergrad university now offers a beer-making certificate, which I would hope students pair with some kind of business or finance major to get themselves off the ground.
We did a mini-beer tour around Traverse City this past weekend. There are SO many breweries. That seems like it would be an amazing course but like you said, you’d definitely have to pair it with something else.
OMG, Traverse City cherry wine. Cherry everything. Cherry all day, ya’ll!
Just found your blog and going through and reading as much as I can. Love seeing beer reviews and stuff. Very fun blog and very fun beer review here. Shame it wasn’t that impressive. I also run a blog where we do a lot of beer reviews and things, you can check it out here: http://thebeerthrillers.home.blog/
Be sure to stop by and leave a comment. Great reading your blog!
Thank you! Followed you. 🙂
Thank you very much! Did the same with you. Love reading your blog!

A friend gave us one way back, from one of her travels. Interesting but not our beer.
That is essentially what my husband said too. 🙂
