It seems pointless to even try to NOT compare the comic to the Netflix series because it’s the hot new thing. But honestly, you should just read the comic AND watch the show. They are both different but obviously have enough in common for one to come from the other. Both are enjoyable in their own ways as well.
I actually thought the comic was a little darker than the show. I have zero issues with that because I love dark things. But, I did not feel the connection to the characters like I do in the show. (Granted, the show has a lot more time to develop and explore such things.) I did like that Salem had a bigger part in this, the show should take note of that for it’s next season.
So all in all……Praise the Dark Lord and read this fucking comic.

I’m gonna give it a go with the girls
Haha well, I don’t know what I would have thought if my dad had handed me this comic. 😛
Also, it would be kind of hilarious if your girls ran around saying things like, Praise the Dark Lord. People would probably shit their pants.
Haha sounds good to me. We teach the girls that there’s some things they can say and do around the house but not in public. For instance the younger one has taken to grabbing her crotch with one hand, putting the other in the air and twirling singing “vagina dance, vagina dance” she’s 5 and I suspect her 11 year old sister had something to do with that. We all crack up and laugh then I use my dad voice and say “ no vagina dancing outside the house “ Haha. We are not your conventional type family but we are happy one. 👍🏼😉
I’m going to start doing that to embarrass my husband in public. 😛 Sounds like a fun house!
Yay! I’m glad you liked this one, too! Yeah, it would be cool if they did a lot more with Salem in season 2 of the show. 🙂 I loved him in the comic.
