Spoiler Alert. Stop here if you haven’t read this far in the series.

I’ll admit when I picked this up and the first page said, β€œThis is the story about how my parents split up” I almost threw the book across the room. Marko and Alana are NOT allowed to split up. EVER. As I read on though, I did enjoy the relationship flaws and how they handled things. It gave another angle to their personalities that we haven’t seen before. The stress of raising a child is enough on it’s own. Raising a toddler while being in hiding and a heightened sense of paranoia, just takes the cake. I imagine that should their relationship survive this mess, it will be even stronger.

That bat girl was about to get hit in the mouth though for hitting on Marko.

ginny

Fuckin’ hussy.

  1. I shared your reaction to that line, haha. I just finished Vol 8 of this today, actually. This series is so good! πŸ™‚

  2. Haha I felt very much the same regarding “the bat hussy”. πŸ˜› I was talking to someone about her before and they said they had been rooting for her for some insane reason. Fuck. That. NO!
