March is Women’s History Month. Women rock and history is fun, so it’s going to be a spectacular month. I’ve never hosted a blog event before so this could be a huge failure but whatever, whatever, I do what I want.
Let’s celebrate women. Every kind, in every way, in whatever way you see fit. For myself, I’m going to read only female authors for the entire month. My hope is that other blogs sign up to celebrate women in any way they would like to contribute and I’ll post weekly updates to these blogs and what they’ve worked on.
I’ve already suckered two people into helping me out:
Imperialrebelork, because he’s nice and helpful and sassy. He’s going to be painting female models.
Ignited Moth, because she’s my BFF so she never turns me down on like, anything. She hasn’t decided how she’s celebrating yet, but I’m sure it will be fantastic.
Not only will this be great fun, I think it will be a helpful way to highlight your blog and meet other interesting people.

Awesome, I’ll join in – like IRO, I’ll be continuing to paint ‘realistic’ (i.e. not in chainmail bikinis) female sci-fi miniatures through March. And yes, IRO is sassy… about time someone called him out on it! 🙂

I finally figured out what I’m gonna do for this awesome celebration for Women’s History Month. 🙂 I’m gonna make and post drawings/sketches of bad ass ladies from various points in history throughout the month. Looking forward to seeing all the cool posts. This was a really good idea!

I’m going to do biography sketches on women we all should know about but probably don’t. I’m an educator so I’m also going to be sharing some biographies about women for kids on Thursdays. I’m posting a bio sketch or biography everyday all month long. *fingers crossed*
