I’ve Been Nominated – Liebster Award Tag

I’ve been nominated by the super lovely Frankie Lovely (see what I did there?) for the Liebster Award. She’s an awesome book blogger so if you need another place for book suggestions, I highly recommend you check her out. ^.^

What is the Liebster Award?

“Liebster” is a German word meaning beloved, dearest, sweetheart, or darling.

For bloggers, the Liebster Award is an online recognition given by other bloggers to new bloggers for enjoying or appreciating their work. It highlights up and coming blogs.

Once nominated, a blogger is asked to answer 11 questions provided by the nominating blogger.  They are then expected to nominate 11 other favorite new bloggers and come up with a list of 11 new questions for those nominees.

The Rules:

1. Acknowledge the blog who nominated you and display the award.
   
2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger gives you. 
3. Nominate 11 blogs.
4. Notify those blogs of the nomination. 
5. Give them 11 questions to answer. 

1 – DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF AN ARTIST IN ANY WAY WHEN IT COMES TO MUSIC, ART, CRAFTS, OR HOBBIES?

Eh, not really. Once upon a time, I loved to draw. My maximum now is doodling things while some poor sap jabbers in my ear. (I’m not really a fan of talking on the phone unless you’re one of two people who are the exclusion to the rule.)

2- WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF MUSIC OR YOUR FAVORITE BAND?

Metal. I couldn’t pick an absolute favorite band anymore I don’t think, but here’s a few top ones: Motorhead, Danzig, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Ozbourne (my dog’s name is Ozzy “No More Tears” Ozzdog FFS), and Type O Negative (I have a Type O tattoo in tribute to Peter Steele).

3- WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO?

Seems like an obvious question, read. However, travel would be at the top of the list too, I just need more money to do it.

4- TELL US SOMETHING INTERESTING ABOUT YOURSELF.

One interesting thing? But I’m so goddamn interesting how do I choose?! I’ve met Bruce Campbell and he insulted my hometown. In all fairness, he’s from Michigan and he hit the nail on the head so it was funny instead of insulting.

5- DOES BLOGGING EVER STRESS YOU OUT?

Not especially. I feel guilty when I don’t post something for awhile. Like you guys are going to go into withdrawals without me. 😉

6- DO YOU LIKE TO COOK?

I can cook but I like to bake more. All my recipes I’ve tried are here.

7- WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE READING GENRE?

Hands down, pants down, Epic Fantasy. Because it’s EPIC, need I say more?

8- ARE YOU ON GOODREADS?

Shit yeah. How else am I going to keep track of everything I want to read?

9- DO YOU LIKE WHERE YOU LIVE?

Well I just moved in the last month and I certainly can’t complain about the place yet. Much more exploring needs to be done.

10- WHAT KINDS OF FOODS DO YOU LIKE TO EAT?

Peanut butter.

11- WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE SEASON?

Autumn. Now I have my own yard with giant maple trees that backs up to cemetery. I’m going to Halloween SO hard this year.
