Treasure Island – Book Review

3 out of 5 stars

Yo-ho-ho and I don’t like rum!

Aye, matey, classics and I just do not get along.

It started out promising, I was highly enjoying myself. Then the middle part rolled around and I became increasingly bored. Worse yet, I became SO bored that I skipped any parts that didn’t include dialogue. It doesn’t feel like I missed much or I was able to figure out, just by the dialogue, what had happened. Then, just like the double crossing Long John Silver, it turned around once again and was enjoyable until the end.

If I had to compare it with other classics, it would be better than most of the other ones I have read. But I won’t lie and say that it wasn’t dreadfully boring at parts.

Jolly YOUR Roger.
